ASSOCIATE PROJECT ENGINEER

North Liberty, IA

The Associate Project Engineer (ASP) supports the project engineering team as a flex resource performing engineering functions under the direction of a Project Engineer. The ASP will assist with the creation of pricing proposals, fixture design and all other aspects relating to new product development.

Provides design assistance and cost information in response to customer inquiries. Oversees tooling construction and all aspects of prototyping. Ensures processes are developed for successful product launches and ongoing production. The ASP utilizes advanced product quality planning tools and executes Centro’s PPAP Process.

An associate degree in applied science or any engineering discipline is strongly desired. Also requires excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Pro/Engineer, Microsoft Office software and various engineering tools and equipment is strongly desired.
